Wifi Phone

Utilize WiFi connectivity to enable phone calls between Android devices within a 100-meter range. The two supported modes are Wireless LAN Router and WiFi Direct. The latter, which is available on devices running Android 4.0 or newer, facilitates a direct Peer-to-Peer (P2P) connection between two devices without the need for an intermediary access point. This functionality allows for short-range voice communication even in remote locations.

How It Works:

1. WIRELESS LAN ROUTER
   • Connect two phones via WiFi to the same LAN Router (access point).
   • Open WiFi Phone, access [Options -> LAN Address]. If your LAN Address is not visible, retrieve it by selecting the associated LAN under [Android Settings -> WiFi -> LAN name]. Share this address with the intended call recipient, akin to sharing a phone number; you will need the other user's LAN Address to establish contact.
   • Create a new contact [Options -> Add contact] and input the "Name" and LAN address.
   • Select the contact and initiate the call.

1. WIFI DIRECT
   • Establish a connection between two phones via WiFi Direct [Android settings -> WiFi -> WiFi Direct].
   • Access WiFi Phone and navigate to [Options -> P2P Address]. Share this address with the intended call recipient, similar to sharing a phone number; you will need the other user's P2P Address to establish contact.
   • Create a new contact [Options -> Add contact] and input the "Name" and P2P Address.
   • Select the contact and initiate the call.

To successfully send and receive calls, the app must be actively running on both devices. Adjust the speaker volume using the device's hardware audio buttons, and switch to headphones to disable the loudspeaker.

The WiFi Phone application does not gather personal data. An internet connection is solely used for displaying Google Ads.
